New York Times Readers’ Recession Photos

I stumbled across this cool online interactive photo gallery from the New York Times today and I wanted to share it with you. The Times solicited readers for photos that depicted the recession and effects of the worldwide economic downturn. Some of the photos are incredibly personal, such as a few that depict empty offices after co-workers have been laid off. Others show the way the recession has altered the photographers’ daily lives, such as cooking more and eating cheaper foods.
