Thanks for the &quot; Top Tips, Tricks and Tools&quot; newsletter. I am a novice in this business. I could not understand your rule #7 (Never try to buy at the bottom or sell at the top (if you try, you&#039;ll just lose more money). 

I thought and was told by others the opposite ( i.e., buy at the bottom or sell at the top). How does one lose money by buying when it is low and selling when it is high?
