Here are a few of the comments we received from my post this weekend on the Espresso Book Machine. If you’re looking for more on it or the company that makes it, click here. Please add your comments here or on the original post.

“Always interested in your emails. I personally love printed books. A Kindle isn’t likely in my life, at least not soon. I’m a pretty good customer of Amazon for this reason. On demand book printing, wow!!”

“Great information to know about. For a minute I thought it would be a machine which those of us who like to write could get our works published for a nominal cost. Perhaps that is next. Thank you for the information.

“I think the Book Express is a wonderful thing, the book you wanted to read but couldn’t find at the push of a button–WOW!!! Will more readers come of this–NO–put the books on DVD and make a Disc Express!!! As a convenience society, most would rather miss taking the time to become INVOLVED in a story to spend 1.2 hours watching the TV. Publishing companies will be linked to this machine and offer more selections of product to purchase. But it is great for readers! Thanks.”

That book printing machine sounds like it will be a boon to reading in general. Who is manufacturing this machine? [[OnDemand Books]] As a published author I would think that this machine could be set up in every city, small or large.”

“The Espresso Book Machine is a wonderful thing and I haven’t used it yet. I usually purchase from two to eight books each month. My local small town book store may not like it, but I will still do business with him. What this means is I will now purchase more books. I believe that eventually this will cause more people to buy books and more people buying books to buy more books. The advance seems to have the potential to open new channels for getting books to the end user. Fantastic.”
