Keeping Your Cool

Despite the House of Representatives passing the government’s $700 billion plan on Friday, stock markets around the world plunged today. When we got to work, Asian and European markets were off considerably and now the U.S. markets have taken a huge dive. We’ve gotten a lot of scared investors calling us today and we wanted to remind you that now is the time to sit tight and keep following your system. We have a lot of helpful resources here in past blog posts and also on our Cabot site. We urge you to check them out, keep your head up and follow your investing system. It’s easy to get caught up in each and every headline that blares across newspapers, TVs and Web sites, but it’s best to keep your cool and not fall prey to your emotions.
